Kiwi Crate Box June

We have already opened this one up and done one of the crafts. It came with so much material I was able to fashion one for Kate too(all I needed was black construction paper)..This month was themed Nature Explorer. With a lantern craft(with LED tea light), and a Scavenger Hunt box with interchangeable papers to find various items. Box came with a bonus deck of cards just for fun, and came with two very nice hole punchers to make the lanterns. I was very pleased with this box and the kids are soo excited about both of these crafts which I know they will play with for as long as they last!

March Citrus Lane Toddler box

Ok, so another one of these. If you read my baby box post, I wasn't thrilled with this mama item. But I like tennis shoes and crocs..so there.

This was the first thing we saw because it literally made the box puffy. haha..Kate was BEYOND thrilled with her new pillow Cloud B. It has a removable lavender scented pouch it(which smells heavenly) and is super soft. It can be shut like a pillow pet. She will appreciate this item for a while I have a feeling! ($8.95 on amazon)
Kate was not thrilled with this item even though she wanted it right away. However, Kate doesn't like pouch food much even though her older siblings do.(Should have given it to them!).. But at least its an organic option that I'm sure tasted great if my texture sensitive child could handle it. ;) (These come in multipacks on Amazon, but run about $1.26 each.)
Puzzle Wheel by Mudpuppy. These pieces are nicely sized for this age group and she was able to put it together pretty easily, so no fussing or begging Mommy to basically do it for her. She loved the girly theme and has played with this often since we got the box. Definitely worth it! haha..(These ranged from $5.00 to $10 on Amazon based on which one you bought)
Wee Gallery Jungle Tattoos. ALL the kids were super happy about these and Kate happily shared. So cute and nice and kiddy as far as kid tattoos go. :) ($5 on Amazon)
So yeah, there was my toddler box!

If you want your own box, please follow the link below and get $10's off your first box! Also, right now they are doing half off your first box if you use the code- TAKEHALF. (However, some people reported having problems with this code, so try using BREAK10 for another discount if the TAKEHALF one causes you problems.)

New box coming!

One of the ways I am able to get some of these subscription boxes is via their referral programs. Some sites I just sign up and promote till I have enough credits to try a box myself for cheap or free.

So, April will bring about a box from Kiwi Crate. Its a monthly subscription box that has two craft projects in it for kids ages 3-7. I am very excited about this because usually the products I receive are for smaller kids or babies and my big kids have been sad to not get anything for them. So, even though Olivia is 8, I figured she and Noah will still appreciate the crafts. What's great is you can add on extra craft supplies for siblings so there is no fighting over who gets to do which craft.

Will let you know how it goes and whether we like it or not. I only ever intend to sign up for one month unless I get a great deal somehow because I like to use my money wisely. ;)

Check them out!

March Citrus Lane baby box

My Citrus Lane box for March for Micah- No video this time because the boxes and their contents starting going missing as soon as I opened them! haha..Though, that means I got good stuff. :)

Weleda Baby Calendula Weather protection cream. We have never tried Weleda products so I'm happy to sample this. Its a full sized product I believe. 2 of my kids got wind chapped bad last winter, and even though spring is breaking through, I'm sure this will be good for various things. ($9-12 on Amazon)

A Green Sprouts Easy to Go Feeding set. Comes with a bib, a spoon, a feeding guide and a wipe you wet and it puffs up. Made from plants and disposable...spoon can be used and is dishwasher safe for up to 10 uses or washing by hand will make its life longer. This is something I wouldn't buy for myself but I'm too cheap for things like this, but getting one in my box was cool, cause I can throw it in my diaper bag and have it ready to go while out! :) ($8.99 for 6 pk. on Amazon)

Wee Gallery Art Cards. While this is for his age range, Micah could have taken or left these but he usually prefers toys that aren't for him anyways..They are SUPER cute and I think if he was a little bit younger he would be liked these. He has played with them, but only quickly looks then moves on. They have lots of cute sets. We got the Jungle Collection. ($12.99 on Amazon)
NurturMe dried organic baby food. We got Squash and Peas. These can be reconstituted with breastmilk, formula, or water as baby food..or mixed into foods like mac and cheese/sauces and baked goods to give them a nutritional boost. Micah still likes baby food so that is most likely how we will use these, but I like their versatility. (These only come in multipacks, but they run approx. $1.26 per pack.)

The Mama gift in the box this month was a $20 off code for Just Fab. However, due to the fact that everything at JustFab is priced $39.95, the 20 off wasn't enough for me to use it..but maybe its cause I'm not that into shoes?? haha..(No ladies hunt me down for my lack or care of shoes).
Micah was super stoked about this teether! By Begin Again...I love toys made here in the states and made using natural products. Soon as I gave this to him he played with it a lot and most definitely teethed on it. haha..I looked them on up Amazon, and they make lots of cool toys! ($9.99 on Amazon)
And that was my box..! I wouldn't say it was my favorite, but it was a full box, so I got my money's worth for SURE and I was exposed to some products that I normally might have seen or bought. Which is why I love this service. :)

Bluum Box Review January 2013

Citrus lane baby box for Feb.

Citrus Lane toddler box for Feb.

Citrus Lane January 2013 Box review..

I ended up getting two of the same box due to a whoopsie on the order side of things, but thats ok, I don't mind having two of everything. Also, just to clarify in case you missed my last post, Citrus Lane is a monthly subscription box, a surprise box designed around your child's age and gender and usually a mama product thrown in. Its very fun to get these! You can sign up for monthly boxes, or sign up for 3,6, or 12 month subscriptions. More info at the bottom of post..

Here's how it looked..:)

First item- 1 oz. bottle of Clean Well Disinfectant Spray. Cleans all botanically..Excited about throwing these in my diaperbag for things like cleaning potty seats.(Retails for $9.96)

Bear In A Square book..the kids LOVE books and this one is nice and sturdy and I know it will hold up to Micah messing with it. (Retails for $6.99)
Full size Episencial's Soothing Cream(4 oz. retails for $10.99) and a sample of their Playful Wash. All my kids have mild eczema and I am very excited about trying this out on their skin after baths to hopefully sooth it. (It also came with a discount code for their site.)

A Ella's Kitchen food pouch. These are very cool and with my screw on spoon for this type of baby food pouch, it makes a great travel food. Plus Ella's kitchen has awesome organic food that I feel good about feeding my little guy.
This is the only item I'm kind of bummed at having two of, just cause I got the same animal. But I do love the product so there's that! Its a Skip Hop insulated lunch box and super cute, and very well made. In their Monkey model. Will have to take more picnics during the summer to enjoy these! (Retails for $13.)
There you have it! A pretty good box!!

If you want to sign up, please use my referral link because then you get $10 off your first order and I get $10's too...so a win win! Plus, I just used a code that got me 7.50 off my next sign up..BREAK10. Enter that during the sign up process in the promo code box).

Disclosure. I was not paid to review this or even supplied with these items. I bought these myself and the opinions there in are my own.

Citrus Lane Box Review(Dec. Box)

So Nov. I bought a groupon for a Citrus Lane 3 month subscription. I paid $35 dollars for 3 months, which breaks it down to around 11.66 dollars per box roughly. If you don't know what Citrus Lane is, its like a Birchbox for babies and Mama's. Its a box built around your child's gender and age, and they have different themes every month for their boxes. They are full of full sized products and samples.

Last month I got a Under the Nile toy, some Green Toy company bowls, a Goodbyn snack container, 2 little spoons that screw onto the top of a baby food pouch, which they sent me one of Plum Organics baby food pouches..and a sample of moisturizer for me! Not bad for $11 dollars.

I love seeing other people open their Birchboxes and their Citrus Lane boxes and wanted to show off my Dec. box I just got today. When the mail lady brought my box, I was excited to see it was bigger then last months. You open it and its so nicely wrapped and pretty. They have a little welcome note, and on the back is a list of the items in the box, their value and where to find the item to buy more of them.

It came with a Tiny Love  Frankie the frog stroller/carseat clip on toy that has a pull down string to make it jiggle. ($6.99)
A Ecomom.com's gift voucher for $15 dollars. Super excited about this..I love that store! Now just to decide how to spend it!
2 samples of Dapple baby bottle and dish liquid..I haven't tried any Dapple products, so I can very excited about this.
A pouch of 479 Popcorn Fleur De Sel Caramel popcorn. I immediately ate most of the bag, definitely something I would buy in store. The popcorn was very nice and light and sweet with that hit of salt. So good. I was nice and saved Luke a couple bites. :) ($1.99 per 1 oz. bag)
A Green Toys tugboat. Its a bath toy..I know Micah doesn't quite appreciate this just yet, but he will! You can fill it up and pour out the front..also Green Toys are made from 100% recycled milk jugs..is BPA and PVC free as well..so its safe for them to play with. ($14.99)
Pearhead Baby Hanging keepsake. How perfectly timed right here at Christmas..($14.95)
So as you can see, I definitely got my $11's worth! And Micah has a few more things for under the tree. :)

Just for disclaimer. I was not paid to review this or given any incentive. It was on my own free will that I bought this and my completely honest opinion about the box. I still have a January Box as part of my 3 month subscription, but doubt I will renew just due to funds. However, if I had the money, I'd so still be getting these every month!

If you are interested in signing up to try it out here are some deals for you and my personal invite link!

Right now you can start your monthly subscription for less! Take 10% off the cost of your subscription with code SPRINGFUN. You'll save $7.50 on three months, $12.50 on six months, or $25 on twelve months!
